My background is in powerlifting but I just started doing CrossFit. Shoulder mobility has definitely been a big struggle of mine. Getting The weight overhead isn’t the issue its just a matter of not being able to squat with that weight - My body just wants to fold forward once it starts to get heave. My snatch Pr is 135 right now but my strict OHP is 205, bench is 365, squat 525 and Deadlift is 605. Ya my shoulder mobility is bad lol

Just got up to 90 lbs today on the full snatch. I still struggle with shoulder mobility when doing these as well as OHS.

175 lbs....can't go full squat when snatching its always power snatches...i guess its the fear of jumping down under the bar so fast

Why everyone talking about going up in weight with being limited on mobility just keep light weight and focus on shoulder mobility or you’re gonna set your new PR in snap city

It's always a good idea to train in the range that you can keep as close to optimal positions as possible
