Here's a brilliant idea: how about the commentators talk about the athletes and not themselves? I do not care when your first competition season was, nor who you competed against. What I would like to know is the position/standing of the athletes.

Haley & Tia were incredible and battling it out!! I'm glad I know how CrossFit works now and that's because Sean Woodland is so clear at explaining the course in the intro, breaking it down as it goes, giving a little backstory on the leading athletes and athletes who have been historically competitive. This commentary got worse as it progressed and it's a shame. If this was my first CrossFit I'd never get into it. Someone in the CrossFit team needs to learn the viewing/entertainment experience (for newcomers because that's always the bar). How do they experience this for the first time and want to engage or see it live. Adrian seems almost disinterested in what's happening. Gassed for Haley though, I've been excited about her progress for this games! Edit: Cutting to commentary just makes it all the more worse. We're not watching them. Commentary is auxiliary, humility allows you to recognise that and play your role best for the sport... Aight I'm done. It's just so frustrating to listen to when what you're watching is actually exciting.
