Just here to tell how to get past the lightnings as of patch 2.4 to anyone who wishes to get to Inazuma without quests in future and hasn't seen other videos about it. I made it there at Adventure rank 20 and had a lot of fun co-oping and doing sidequests all over the islands. When you reach the lightnings underwater you either need to have your network connected with cable or via Wi-fi hotspot. (Works on all platforms, but may be too difficult on Playstation.) - Open ANY game menu and DISCONNECT by pulling the network cable out or turn off the hotspot sharing on the HOST DEVICE. This will maintain the connection for a moment as Genshin thinks you're lagging. - Close the game menu and run South past the lightnings (if they strike) following the slope where you can climb up to the ocean surface. You can also first climb up and then swim South. You can do this for about 10-15 seconds before Genshin tries to re-connect. Before this happens, open ANY game menu again and RE-CONNECT to your network by turning hotspot ON or put the cable back on its port. - Let it establish connection for about 3 seconds, not longer than that (or you might get teleported) and DISCONNECT again the same way you did before. Run south again for 10-15 seconds and repeat. - You should get past the lightnings by running for about 1 minute, so you have to do this maybe 6-10 times depending on whether you succeed on the first try. - When there is no longer fog, thunder or lightnings you made it to Inazuma so climb up somewhere and unlock a waypoint. If you fail while running past lightnings, you might get lucky and be teleported to Inazuma's waypoint, but this rarely happens.

Great video, didn't know about that glitch area. I managed to do this once a couple of weeks ago using just Lumine's rocks to jump across (starting at Liyue harbour using raft glitch) but I haven't been able to repeat it yet. There is definitely an area you can avoid triggering the storm but I think it's a small zone.
