We're leaving Kazakhstan and crossing into Kyrgyzstan, a country most people don't know about. We took an unpopular border route, and to be honest, we were a bit anxious since there wasn’t much info online about what to expect. But it turned out to be a stunning drive, with sweeping landscapes that made the journey unforgettable. We were also pleasantly surprised by how smooth and efficient the border crossing was! Finally, we arrived in Karakol, a charming city that serves as the gateway to Kyrgyzstan’s incredible mountains and trekking spots. We checked into a cozy homestay, ready to kick off this next chapter of our Central Asia series!
