Crossing into the USA police are waiting

He we are crossing the border to do some vlogging, exploring and of course buying collectibles
Just an ordinary vlog or so we thought , police waited for us and got us see how it unfolded and what are your thoughts

I ran into a similar situation in Louisiana in a small town. I was keeping pace with traffic, I was pulled over, and told I was going 5 mph faster than I was (I looked at my speedometer when I saw the cop running radar up ahead). He would NOT let me look at the radar. I told him to his face, "I was keeping pace with the truck in front of me, you only pulled me over because I have a red car." He had no answer for me. Sadly, it was a lot cheaper to just pay the ticket and keep it off my insurance than deal with the headache of this town's notorious kangaroo court. I think it's a cop thing here. Got pulled over for a ticket years later (first one since that one I just mention), and THAT cop showed me the radar when I asked to see it. Very polite about it too. If you can make the time to get there and fight it in court, I always plead not guilty. Lot of places here, you plead not guilty, they'll knock you down to a non-moving violation. Win-win. You avoid a moving violation, city/county gets a couple of hundred or so out of you. Good luck!

In the US only the state police can legally have radar detectors and most of them are mounted permanently around and inside the police cruiser. They can not be removed from the vehicle or seen by anyone but themselves and their supervisors.
