Crossing Lake Michigan on our Luhrs 3400 for the first time!

My good friend Keith and I bought a new (to us) Luhrs 3400 Motoryacht boat and we had to cross Lake Michigan in order to get it home. It was tricky finding the perfect October day to do it, but we did it! 🛥️

I’m blown away guys. This was the actual boat that got my wife and I started down this road!!! We ultimately decided on a different vessel but Escape Hatch was the first one where we said it’s time to get a boat! I hope you and your families make wonderful memories aboard. I don't know what to type first here (takes deep breath). This is KZbin storytelling at its best. Sincerity, music, editing and drone footage made me feel like I was there. Maybe because I've captained my 41 ft ChrisCraft on similar journeys, or I miss it so much because it's tucked away for this long winter, but this video captures everything. Most powerful moment? The mixed emotion when seeing land and knowing the journey is ready to come to an end. Thank you so much for sharing the experience and the effort in editing and storytelling. Wow.

Couldnt ask for a better crossing i havent done lake michigan on a boat as big as your boat crossed it on my 19 1/2ft 86 starcraft and one my 19ft 89 Mark Twain nothing like crossing lake michigan now The Great Loop and Gulf Of Mexico
