I'm from Puerto Rico, I'm old not much time left for me. This has been the most beautiful video I've seen and your enthusiasm brought tears to my eyes. You are a very beautiful girl and the kind of girl any parent would be happy and proud to have. Thank you for loving Puerto Rico as I do, don't forget to return as there is so much more to see. Puerto Rico has three or four of the five luminescent bays in the world, three are on mainland P.R. The bioluminescent bay part was so beautiful and it reminded me of Life of Pi when he got to an island...idk how to describe it I haven't seen the movie in so long but I distinctly remember that part lol. But that is definitely something for my bucket list.

When we were in cayman we went swimming in the bioluminescence too and it was AMAZING!!! Underwater and regular camera didn't capture it but it was one of the most electric and magical experiences ever.

You need to go to the cumay caves and to el yunce (you can do that on your own if you have a car) and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go on an adventure tour through Rocaliza adventures, they take you to the most amazing rainforst (puts even el yunce to shame) with waters running through it and SEVERAL amazing waterfalls. Doing that adventure tour is hands down my best travel experience! p.s. even when your sunburnt your skin is flawless

I've seen bioluminescence a few times while living in St. Croix (an island about 90 miles from PR). I saw it from a clear kayak. I totally get what you mean by the magic. It's like fairy dust, one of my favorite things too. I'm so glad you got to see it!!

If you ever come back, you should visit the south. It very rarely rains over here (we even have a dry forest XD) unless the wind shifts and it's coming in from Southeast to Northwest (it's actually very warm right now). You can go camping in the dry forest in Guanica and they also have a sunflower farm, there are other forests in Adjuntas where you can go hiking and there are many rivers, San German is one of our historical cities being one of the first to be created after the Spanish arrival, and in my hometown of Ponce we have the Hacienda Buena Vista where you can help pick coffee beans grown right here and see all the process of drying them and later on have a taste of that very coffee you helped with :)

About the bio-luminescent bay, did you try swimming there, is incredible when you submerge in the water and open your eyes while moving your hands everything glows around your body, is indescribable. I have go to the Cabezas de San Juan in Fajardo and done it with my sister and friends it was awesome.

Awesome!! My island! Funny enough I've never been to the Bio Bay in Vieques. I've been to the one in Fajardo though and I love it. You should check it out next time. Other recommendations could be Toro Verde, like someone else mentioned in the comments its really fun, and the beaches on the Northwestern area (Isabela, Aguadilla or Rincón), they are really beautiful, on the way there u could stop in Camuy to see the Caverns or in Arecibo to visit Cueva Ventana, the view from there is breathtaking, I highly recommend it.
