Just seen the latest update from the loofers Some news: We’ve had an offer to find a new home for the business by some fellow home brewers, former customers keen to keep the full service we offer going. So, the new owners will continue to concentrate on hops, yeast, grain and grain kits . Please be gentle with them while we move home (est. transfer date end of December), and if it all goes well you shouldn't notice a thing. And it goes without saying we thank you all for the support you’ve shown over the last 10 years. It truly has been a pleasure, and you guys and girls have made this whole online brewing supplies malarkey a delight. Happy brewing and take care out there! ​​Steve, Cam and the new boy Symon!

Crossmyloof are fantastic. I don’t have the space to order bulk so having somewhere I can just order what I need/ when I need it with postage included keeps me in this hobby. Happy news!

It's such a shame that Steve is retiring; it's my go-to yeast and hops. I always recommend them, as the products are great, and that cheeky email always makes me laugh. I hope that someone buys them out and continues the service. A Homebrewers' Cooperative might be the way forward.

Ffs Rick!! My heart sank there as I've decided to make things easier for my disabilities I was only gonna buy all grain kits and use cml. That was great breaking news and hope it all goes to plan and the new owners keep up the same high standards we've become used to.

@@Around80Beers it does fit if you put a internal bit from a hose connection on it but I think the ball I purchased worked much better facing down rather than upwards I’m on the lookout for another solution. To be fair the bucket blaster works great without it cheers 👍🏼🍻

Looks like that use-it-up beer turned out well. I’ll be doing something similar in the next week. Glad to see CML may have a successor as totally agree it’s so nice to be able to get essential (and high quality) supplies so conveniently. Hopefully the new custodians keep the same business model. I like the look of the selfie stick tripod, I'm on the lookout for something to replace my tripod as the metal screw bit at the top has worn away and won't go into the GoPro properly any more. Im a big CML fan, their yeast is excellent although I won't need to order any for a bit 😂. I quite like that they have a long list of hops, most I've never tried and can buy a small pack for a reasonable amount. Hopefully the new owners are half as good as the old.

I've been using CML for a lot less time than you, but I have to agree wholeheartedly. They're great to deal with, and lightning fast at getting the order to you. I hope the new owners do their reputation justice. (I'm sure they will, we'll have some confidence in them....) Nice sounding kitchen sink beer there as well 🍺🍺

Gutted to hear the news about CML closing. I usually buy from malt miller but have bought from cml a few times also and those guys are great. We've chatted a few times on homebrew uk on FB and if you have to monetise the channel I'd definitely pay. Not just for the brew content but also enjoyed your family visit to france.

Must be a dry boy, although sounds like its well balaced with juicy hops, another fantastic looking beer from BABR. 😁 Great news about CML, i dont use them very often, but i had started using it a bit more just as the previous announcement came out! As i said on facebook i totally forgot to order yeast with my last bulk order so its a great thing to have. Feel bad for Big Banana, who bulk bought about 10 years of yeast last week 😂😂😂
