Nice sounding beer that. I’m really pleased to hear that the tropical England hops are not only comparable but better is some ways to the hops from further afield. I’m hoping to incorporate more UK hops going forward so this is good to hear. Cheers!

Yank here, I am also mostly half-lit. I recently ordered some of this drop stuff for a Spiced Hard Cider that I'm making (we specify the good stuff from the kid stuff here, hence "hard"). I started entirely too late for it to be of any good this year. Such is life. Anyway, I have those same bottles (the thrill of life with those), and thanks to your video here, I now know what to shoot for; between 1-2 drops. Thanks, dude.

Glad your liked the beers, The yellow snows an odd one the only real stoutness is the water profile and maybe the body from the oats and wheat, odd but I liked it. With the Citra mac im wondering if a little oxygen got into the bottle I find that really increases the blueberry flavour. Thanks for the reviews, cheers 🍻

Wow it really does look like orange juice. Excellent result, Im delighted your first NEIPA wasnt bad, thats a real hope killer. Im very much on the 'as it happens' video bandwagon, these are essentially, what we used to call back in the day, video diaries. I find these infinitely more interesting than the other stuff. Dont forget to send Brooksey some beermail, a tube under the tap works fine. First class guaranteed next day 👍

Good job getting through that. Loved the tasting section, almost felt like you were accepting an award for a bit there 😁😁 Totally agree on the trub dump, never see the need on a home brewing scale. We don't have the compression from such a high head pressure, causing heat issues like the big pro tanks. I've left beer sitting on yeast for six or seven weeks, no issue. Great job, looks lovely. 👍👍

Hi Rick, further question, did you use all of the 500g maltodextrin? Research says: All Grain Brewing Typical dosage: 130g - 275g per 23-litre batch (5.6g - 11g per litre).

@@michaelbahnisch9570 HI I shot for a ph of 5.4 in the mash and as close to 5 in the fermenter. I guess any NEIPA yeast would work well.i did use all 500 g of maltodextrin. It was my first NEIPA so I took loads of advice and luckily it turned out lovely especially considering I didn’t really know what I was doing 😂🤣hope yours goes well cheers 👍🍻

@@BrewabitRick you could do both. Bottle condition some from your fermzilla and then the rest could be cold crashed, kegged and carbed and conditioned for as long as you don't need the keg, then bottle them when you do need the keg and store them.

The trub dump is always a mess by the nature of it. Have to get a basin or something under it and make sure everything is where it should be. The recipe sound pretty perfect. I like your as it happens kinda style, i always plan everything in my vids and then nothing goes the way I plan anyway. I would recommend the condenser thingy i have for indoor brewing. Those few extra KG of grain do make mashing that little bit more... Vigorous 😂 My god it even looks good going into fermenter😮😮😮 Ohhhhhhh just seen the finished article. DANK! Excellent lookin'. Now where did i leave my recipe book. 5.5% is pretty light for a NEIPA, BUT, its exactly where i would want it too, anything stronger than that and id take months to empty the keg😂😂 Great video, glad the neipa worked out for you, loved being on the journey from basicslly when santa brought you the hop bong last christmas, this was your season finale for sure! Excellent.

Mate, I’m so glad you have broken your NEIPA cherry and maybe the hops I sent you gave you the push you needed to do so as I know how nervous you were about brewing one, because let’s face it, it can be an expensive drain pour if you get it wrong. But the recipe I sent you was all Matt Callaby, it was a brew I wanted to try but never got round to doing. But regardless of all of that, you brewed what looks and sounds like an absolutely awesome beer and you did that and brewing process makes the ingredients and recipe shine. Thanks for the shout out and I hope you now have the confidence to brew another one, because they are epic beers to drink and impress your friends with. Keep going with the content and ignore the haters as I enjoy watching them and I’m too lazy to make them. Much love ❤❤❤
