I've done that before too, grabbed my guitar and went down to the next crossroads. Then I knelt down and prayed that I would like to be a devilishly good guitarist. Nothing happened. No lightning strike, I still played like a good average guitarist at best. But I saw a lot of people passing by shouting words like weirdo and idiot at me.
