That hydrobed has been a game changer for you for sure. Much safer, can roll the hey out for all the Bison instead of running it over. Not to mention the muscles of lifting. I can't wait until the fall round up to see how they are all doing

I'm impressed with your welding skills. Repurposing old pieces of gate, welding into new hay feeders? Love to see you do all these projects. Of course I never tire of seeing the big guy & all the ladies. I love watching their behavior when you're working around them. They show a healthy respect about not getting too close or rambunctious. They seem to feel very comfortable with your presence, but they know it as more of a business relationship. I think about all the videos posted about strangers wanting to interact with park bison. It is just not who they are. Thanks for sharing your family & bison ranching with us.❤

Side note: my grandpa had a ranch in McCurtain Ok (town, not county) Side of the mountain facing Robbers Cave. I have pics of his land from there. The tech we have now would blow his mind, or maybe not. He was a forward thinker, yet a mountain man. Loved him dearly. ❤

It's too bad you have to rotational graze, otherwise I believe Big Joe would love one of those roller brushes to scratch on. It would probably start a fight over who gets to use it though, since I don't think he would be inclined to share. sort of like Dunbar's tree tank, lol

You know what, I thought the same at first, but as it slims down, there might be a point that the whole bale drops, instead of just bits. 🤔 Maybe Dusty foresaw that possibility. 😊

Dusty, as a carnivore I eat a high fat or a higher fat diet. Low fat doesn't roll with my way of eating. Our bodies need saturated fat to live. When I converted to a high-fat carnivore diet I dropped my cholesterol by 101 points in 3 weeks. Cholesterol numbers are useless as we produce our own cholesterol and any excess cholesterol exits with our waste. Not only that, but the easiest way to get a perfect cholesterol test is to eat high-fat Ribeyes, Bacon, and Butter for 3 days before your test. If you want to raise it eat low fat, include highly inflammatory vegetables, and if you really want high cholesterol eat carbs for the 3 days before. The test only reflects the 3 days of eating before you are tested. Not only that high saturated fats and red meats will lower your LDL. LDL is a complete scam, but triglycerides are what causes heart attacks. Why are you making your meat stick low-fat? I don't understand? By the way, a higher-fat carnivore diet is the easiest way to build muscle fast, which will cause weight loss faster than any other diet. Of course, you have to do some strength training too!
