So glad you done this test! I almost bought one when they went on sale for less than $80. I would surely send it back as I need sound and good stabilization. I am still fairly happy with my Campark V30 and I use it now for my primary camera. My next videos coming up in a couple days will be 100% V30 only. Again... Thanks! Keep on making these videos! They really help people!

Hey man good review as usual. I'm with you on the sound being a deal breaker. If they fix the sound, I could deal with the stabilization. Image and colors looks sharp and crispy. Audio sucks indeed. I am puzzled though why the manufacturers did not test this camera in their own factory? Sure they noticed the audio flaw. What about using a lapel mike? I cannot take part in the competition. I am living in the Netherlands...so no chance ! Thanks for testing !

I accidentally left my crosstour action camera in the rain, without the waterproof case, and some water got inside it, behind the lens, clouding the lens. Does anyone know how to fix that? I kept it near a heater, hoping that would evaporate it, but it didn't. I wonder if I should do that for a longer time. I also stuck it in a box with a little dehumidifying thing that people put in their closet to keep things dry, but that didn't work either. Ideas?

Maybe replace the lens, but that's with assuming the internals didn't get fried.

@@WORTHITORNOT It works. The insides don't seem to be fried. There's just water on the inside of the lens. I have no idea how I'd replace the lens, but I'm going to try the trick where you put it in a bag of rice to help absorb the moisture. We'll see how that goes.

I bought a national geographic action camera several years ago, mainly for recording mountain biking, the footage is so bad I hardly use it. Which action cams would you recommend for recording mountain biking please, I know go pro is king but would like to consider cheaper options. Thanks.

What resolution are you going to record in? does it need to have good audio? does it need to have average, above average stabilization? See, there is a lot to consider.

I think it may have potential with the right updates. Now for me to be brutally honest. It seems like the firmware isn’t finished, Wouldn’t you think a company that advertises an action camera, I don’t know, maybe test the capabilities before they ship it? Thanks for being honest, you may have saved someone a hundred dollars, that they could get a Yi Lite and have some left over. Keep safe and healthy, we are almost through the worst of it.

Yeah the CT9500 is a better camera and doesn't have that "jumping around", almost melting affect that the 9700 has but the audio seems to be worse than the 9500 model 🤔. Anyway thanks for the great video on this because I was hoping for an improvement to the 9500 but I'm disappointed 😒. Thanks for saving a hundred bucks brother and take care always. #worth it or not.

The audio is just not usable at all. I am sure that you have tried all adjustments on this camera. Is there a wind noise cancellation or something? I recall on one of your past review, you discover disabling wind noise reduction improved somewhat. Hope I can win this, I would really use one at this time. #WORTHITORNOT

Yes I have tried everything on this camera and nothing worked to fix the audio. Crosstour just sent me a new firmware and we'll see if it fixes some of these issues. Good luck
