maybe the bogging problem may be caused by some electronic controls? i think, even in race mode/map, there will still be some traction control or wheelie control, and being on a steep snow hill with a paddle tire going up makes the ecu really confused haha

Matt, are you sure the "bog" isnt related to the traction control? Its based on wheel speed. The bog is hard to hear audibly but you can see it in your helmet cam footage. That short on/off power cut is what traction control kicking in is like.

DTC Ducati traction control is bogging the motor! Way too much tire spin!

I have a v4 Ducati similar to this. Even in race mode, the traction control will cut the power when the wheel slips where you can’t get the motors power on the ground. I would adjust the settings as low as you can.

Love the Ducati footage bro! I was thinking I'd love to see you gear it down like stunters do, ya might have more usable power thru the first three gears, least when your runnin thru thicker snow,sand, or mud. As a liter bike owner, they are definitely geared for top end and i love stock gearing on the road, but i think id try some gearing in this situation. Keep up the great posts!

Ducati likely needs a Flash, with it being so cold, and that being where power and torque cross over, its likely going lean....especially with the exhaust being anything other than stock, itll help with the shitty throttle response and wierd power dips. Hopefully the bog too

The bogging is probably due to not having the front speed sensor working. The ECU thinks you are in neutral and not under load. Try and get the speedo working.

Nothing beats a fat man on a tweeked Harley . he has passed but I still have a faster tha average wide glide . its a serious beast rolling start on pavement at 25 mph to well over 120 mph . nice video brought back good memories .
