Hi, I looked the video and I now understand why his plans are like that and why the cycling infrastructure in the North American countries are like that. From what I know, I can already tell what the results will be by surten plans. This from the knowledge we got here and from what I have seen happening here. But that there will also grow a support gor it. That is why I think that there can be made bigger steps than he wants to do in his plans. The Corona virus is now also the reason why cities in Italy are adding a cycling and pedestrian infrastructure in their cities. They also promote e-bikes, by giving money to make them a lot cheaper. This makes that more people can go outside on a safe way even with the virus. Also do they have high problems with pollution and this will also be lowered a lot with these plans. Bridges take more space, but tunnels also need a ramp and it depends how deep the tunnel is, that makes how long the ramp is. Tgat is why they here raise roads also a bit. With bridges they sometimes lower the toads under it. As you mute your audio, mute it so the other one can also mot hear you. Than you get straightaway a reaction on that you are muted. You mainly talk about infrastructure, but a big part and the reason an infrastructure can work, is traffic rules and education. Do you also look ad that, or do you only look ad infrastructure? In my opinion you need to look ad all to get the right infrastructure. The part where you talk about all green for cyclists and pedestrians has to do with education. Without education, they don't work that well. It isn't only with those situations because it also happens between cars and cyclists and pedestrians. Children here, learn to do that by there tragic education. It's this what can help to lower the amount of accidents and not only in between cyclists, but also in between other traffic. From my experience, is this part what is missing by people From other countries and from my experience, I noticed it a lot by people Ftom North American that are here on holiday. I don't agree completely with just adding electric skateboards and steps, that it isn't a problem. Here it is limited and first checked if it can be done on a safe way. Each vehicle brings something to it that can cause danger on a public road.
