Prof said he wrote it for DojaKat but she couldn't do it, so he thought about who would be introspective enough to fill the 2nd verse, Ren had it for months apparently after initial talks, and then came back with a beast of a colab... We love prof in my house, not quite as much as Ren, Ren is king, but this is such a great creation, hoping there's more to come... Ren is back in the UK and playing his first live gig for a while this summer. Hopefully our boy is going full global superstar in 2024/25 🫶🏻🔊🇬🇧🔊 Great reaction again momma Crow 🫶🏻

It’s fun and it’s fire with a West Indies flavor which I just savor. Truthfully, there are some serious themes here about the relentless struggle to make it, to be successful, to be famous at any cost (selling souls, pimping pain, monetizing life for instagram fame)…all relevant in these difficult times. Of course the absurdity of killing a politician is all about the total corruption in politics and governments who have created such a toxic and divisive culture among the people with their never ending lies., gaslighting and fear mongering. They have all sold their souls and abused their power. They have made it damn near impossible for people to make it, especially the young people. They don’t seem to care much about the shit storm they are inflicting on we the people. Of course REN and Prof are not promoting killing but they are making s very clear statement about the culture of death we live in. I think the overall effect for me is a smooth and banging beat and a very good hook. It’s rap, it’s soul with some thought provoking themes at its core. I loved it. REN the man with a thousand flows and some sweet harmony in the background. These 2 have very different and distinctive sounds and yet it just works…I call it the magic of REN. The way this is arranged has his touch all over it and like every duo I have seen him be a part of…it’s very very good listening. I ❤this just as much as you. Personally, I believe it's not a song about their hardships making them what they are in this music industry. It's more of a commentary on today's society, everyone hustling for whatever they can get & as much as they can get, because the almighty $$ rules us all. While he & Ren are out here pimping their pain, others are out here killing & profiting on others pain. So it begs to question for everyone listening to this, how much pain and hustle is it worth, to make it in this world of ours? I think they've poetically and humorously painted the perfect picture. Yet at the same time it's so F'n sarcastic. Personally I loved it Sis, 🔥🔥 BTW - Ren's rhyme scheme with the countdown of syllables explaining what his pain music has done for him, is a brilliant piece of word play. 🤯.

This is one of my favorite Ren collabs ever it has such a island / Reggae vibe the beat is actually sick I have had it on repeat since yesterday it is just very natural sounding to me like they were meant to do this always like they have known each other forever and just decided to sing this song one day. I have heard that Ren is doing a big festival show and Knox Hill is going to open for him very soon .

Ren is going to hire a team to film it and edit it. He said it will take a few weeks of editing before it will be dropped. A live stream would be poor quality. I assume Ren would have to work out the details with the folks at the secret garden party.
