Actually cows do burp and fart. Most of the methane they produce is from burps and is caused by bacteria in their first stomach. This can be prevented by feeding cattle and other ruminants with red seaweed (Asparagopsis). A small amount of red seaweed in their diet each day and no more methane.

I fell for this scam the last time around. Been an electrical/software engineer 25 years now. One of my first realisations was we cannot power the country on solar panels and batteries. Even without EV's (not even close). I wondered why we weren't going with nuclear. Then, when they put every single one of us out of business that used to repair Electronics,(I used to make $1500/day straight out of college), it became apparent. They invested while giving it all to China so we could have cheap junk to toss in landfills.(Where is all the concern for the planet in THAT?) Now they're going to do the EXACT same thing with solar panels and batteries (ever notice how LED light bulbs don't last as long as the old incandescents?) Those panels and batteries aren't going to last near as long as people think. This is all about enriching the elite and consolidating govt control over American energy. The "renewable" part comes in 10 years when there are thousands of acres of junk panels and batteries needing replaced. The elite will "renew" their bank accounts! And since recycling will not be profitable the govt will subsidize it so we can pay for that too. This sham has infuriated me for 20 years!

Geothermal is the future of using boiling water to create steam to generate electricity. That's all nuclear power plants are, water boilers. Fracking companies will use the technology and techniques they developed and perfected directional drilling for oil to drill down into hot rock, across, and back up again. Then you just cap one end with a steam generator and pump fresh water into the other end. Voila, all the steam you ever want for as long as the planet exists. Because it's always hot. No solar or wind necessary. They just need to figure out graphene energy storage and that will be that. Oil and gas and coal are all transitional energy sources for us. Our industrial revolution started with whale oil and it's a good thing people found petroleum in the ground or we wouldn't have any whales left. Then we had/have coal and oil and gas. Coal is considered a "stranded asset" now that we have "transitioned" mostly to natural gas. As we continue to transition, we'll end up with geothermal because it's hot whether it's night time or the wind isn't blowing.
