Seeing Hessie with that famous grin, signing for fans. That really breaks my heart.

Neil loves music he's a true artist. After Split Enz parted ways he was the one still going at it, giving rise to Crowded House.

Neil Finn is awesome, amazing song writer. I remember my first time i was away from home for several days I was 10 years old, went to Chile to play rugby, with my school tem, for one week, was alone, missing home, at the country club of the chilean family that was hosting me, i was very sad, suddenly Don t Dream It’s Over started to play on the radio, and I became even more home sick and sad, I loved that song but made me long for my home even more. But that memory really stayed with me in my mind, every time I hear that song. One of the best pop songs ver written

As an American, I just happened to be there at the time of this show. I honestly had thought they had broken up, as they had huge airplay in the US for their first album, little to no airplay for Temple of Low Men, and none for Woodface or Together Alone. So it came as a shock that they were still together that entire time. What was sadder was that my first time seeing them play was their last time (at that time). the day I got back to the US, they released the best of CD, and I was lucky to find the double CD release, that had their Live in Newcastle show. Spun the hell out of those CDs! If there is anything I remember the most from that trip (which happened to have been my 2nd), or anyone mentions Sydney, the first thing that pops into my head is that show. Amazing night.

That's amazing that you were able to be there! I do remember here in the US Chocolate Cake and Weather With You getting a bit of play, but not that much. The Chocolate Cake video got some exposure on VH1, but clearly their US record company had pretty much given up on them. Sad given the remarkable songs on their '90s albums.

The last concert in Sydney was the one concert that I would always look back and think I wish I had been there. Thank you so much for your new tour. I had a blast in the crowd at Christchurch. So special to be able to attend the first concert second time round.

It shows the accomplished musicianship of the band that they can vary each show. This is why they never became stale!

I arrived in the UK 'for the first time in my life' (out of NZ) the day they split up, it was pretty big news, but I was not into them. I bought their greatest hits and just loved their live album, that's when I really got hooked - after they split! damn, and I am a Kiwi. I liked them and Enz, had their albums, but it was not my time to get real deep; now I play and sing most their songs on guitar, fantastic music, and have met Neil, nice guy. I got to telling him he makes guitaring special on it own. He has his own still that really brings out the songs. Actually different than Bruce, Young and others ... more real, modern, do-able, real nice to play and get results. Beatiful tunes.

They've been going strong in recent years. In my opinion some of their best songs were released when they reformed. "Instinct" "Nobody wants to" and "Pour Le Monde" are all classic CH songs! And they're one of the best live acts around. Anyone should grab the opportunity to see them if covid ever "enz" (see what I did?)
