I like to say if I were a dictator I might ban songs about relationships for a year, just so they had to write about something else. Maybe even the outside world. But I would have to make an exemption for a few people. Van Morrison, Adele, Gary Lightbody and Neil Finn. The spirit moves through him. That chorus is painfully beautifull.

i'm taken aback by the harmonies that Liam does during the chorus. kind of just hanging in half note at the end, and here i thought i've heard all the harmonies in that song in all the times i've listened to this song. i shouldn't be surprised though since it's the kind of half-note harmonies that tim used to do with neil in any of their work together, but here i am, surprised hehehe
