What I love about these series made in the 70's and early 80's is that the acting is superb, no silly lighting and clever camera shots and so easy to follow. I used to watch this in the school holidays. My friends and I had a crush on Mr. Deeley.

10:28 - That's the opposite to what 3 to 1 odds means at a bookmaker. What he is describing is 1 to 3 odds. 'Even Money' being 2 to 1.

Yes, many of the audience would have had a good laugh at that. Funnily enough, I was ripped off by the Tote at the dog track in Wimbledon (no longer in existence, of course).
