Kevin has good taste. It's one of my favorite Rush songs too. I first heard of Rush when I saw them in concert for that tour back in '77. I immediately fell in love with that album, and that song is still one of my all-time favorites! It's great hearing new prog artists reflect on these older influential albums and songs. I bought Crown Lands CDs and am excited to be able to watch a new band grow and mature.

Saw Crown Lands open for Rival Sons and I've been hooked ever since. Saw you again last week in Ottawa and you both came out to the merch table to greet fans and take photos. So much talent and such nice people. Can't wait to see you again.

Alex is such an underrated and overlooked guitarist. I mainly play bass myself but Alex is a big inspiration to me. Hell Rush is 1 of my favorite groups. Growing up i couldn't stand hearing tom sawyer on 101.5 wqut radio then fast forward to getting really big into music and playing bass my dad was like you need to listen to The Beatles (paul) Led Zeppelin (John Paul Jones) and Rush (Geddy) and from then on i was totally hooked... RIP Professor

Overlooked? Perhaps. Underrated though? Never. I have--and will almost certainly maintain--that Alex was arguably only ever outshone by the two gentlemen that he chose to share the stage with for his career. In *any* other band, Alex would have certainly been the star & focus of the band, at the cost of never having been pushed so hard to grow his sound as he did. Long live Rush.

I have just recently, like, this week discovered Crown Lands. I also honour the ideas behind their name. A Farwell To Kings was also one of my first Rush albums. I, too, learned the title cut, although I never learned the intro. Back then I was learning things out of a music book, and frequently the suggested chords were what we called "nose chords", as it looked like the only way to fret those chords was to use both hands *and* your nose. Similar thing happened with "The Trees". Thanks for the new look into A Farewell To Kings....I think I am now inspired to go and learn the intro! Thanx!

I always have felt that Alex should be mentioned in the same breath as the absolute MASTERS and WOULD, if he had not shared a stage with Geddy and Neil every night... I'm sure he wouldn't have had it any other way, and I, for one, am grateful for that!
