Words on the street You're down and you feel alone Stand on your feet 'Cause how will it be when it's gone When white turns to black Can we survive the storm Get off your knees Look to the sky for the dawn I'm telling ya' (Chorus) Are you ready Are you ready Are you ready Are you ready Over the hills we're going Do you wanna be there? Land of confusion with not time to beware Blue turns to green on the scene We'll know what time it is Who says who's to blame for the pain We're not on top of this We've found the land of no return 'Cause at the top of the steps you'll stand or burn We're getting ready to go So join the congregation Stop living in a world of contemplation The time has come to live our dream Open up your mind and listen to the people sing I'm ready to go steady, ready to go So come on down if you're ready to go

Were this a comment to the full album, this would be a long praise: when I purchased that Cd in 1994, I sure did the right thing. Huge, unexpected album it was. But this comment is about this song. Not only did I do the right thing then, I was lucky too. The song we can hear in this page is *exactly* - hence thanks to this channel’s owner - the original track, and it’s safely recorded in my Cd. I’m wondering why on Earth in subsequent versions of this album Crown of Thorns have somehow «corrected» this *perfect* track with a non-rap version (rap, come on: it’s just a short, brilliant change-of-style intuition injected into an hard-rock song, cherry on top) and, if I’m not wrong, also with a more rap-filled crappy version. Shame on them.
