Im positive you have a Bichon but the breeder or pet shop told you Coton DeTulear because they can extract $1,000's more from you because it is a semi-rare breed. Thing is Cotons dont have the curly wire coat like Bichon Frise and your little guy does. Cotons have straight hair similar to Maltese. I have 8 Bichons, he looks identical to my 2 oldest males.
