It's like Crown made it their mission to make the controls on their lifts the complete opposite of what everyone else is using. Even the damn tilt controls are backwards.

Same here bro im so use to the Raymound reach control and when i show up to a job site for reach truck test , and the guy pull up in a big ass crown reach i was like Fuck im so screw. Im pretty fast with the Raymound reach but when i hop on that crown, it took me almost 20mins to grab a pallet lol . But for some reason crowns are super fast .

Great video bud. I’m starting my first day tomorrow at a place that has all Crown but I’m so used to Raymond high-reach. Crowns are a very different beast. I was on one once during my training, we had one in the place, the rest were Raymond’s. I found, because I’m tall, that I was hitting the up/down with the stick while I was driving and almost spilled a pallet. I really hope this doesn’t happen tomorrow. Thanks for the great video. 👍

i love crown Reach forklifts, they are fast and smooth and can do multiple functions at the same time. The store i work at had one but got rid of it because of its age and hours of use. I hate the clarks we have, they always have problems with the joystick controls or the steering motor going bad.........

I don't like these things. raymond and yale reaches are so much better. the controls on these crown reaches aren't as responsive and the reach overall isn't as strong as the raymond and the yale. I have put a little over 4k pounds on a raymond reach and you couldn't even tell, it lifted it so effortlessly. the crown reaches start complaining at around 2.5-3k pounds. the hydraulics squeak and bounce a little, and the fans start revving up. and for some reason all of the reaches and pacers from crown in every warehouse I have been to for my company, all have a shot bearing somewhere. I hear wheel bearings rumbling all the time on these things and occasionally cone aross one were there is a bad bearing in the hydrualics that squeaks like a pig. the only thing I like about the crowns is that they are quiet and they ride better.

You forgot the Auto tilt feature. Which is hold the trigger and tilt pallet down and you will hear a beep and the forks will be level. handy when your forks are 8 meters high and your putting a pallet at the back.

Try holding the trigger and pressing the tilt button (either one) , it will level the tynes automatically to horizontal. and those arrows you say do nothing for you, well.......you could program your reach to lift and stop at your desired heights, just saying, makes a normal reach driver a fucking gun!
@yodambomb49742 жыл бұрын
I think depends on the model and I do not believe that the reachlifts have an auto tilt , only seen it on the regular stand up which it was helpful becuase the normal stand up you couldn’t tilt down too much or you couldn’t raise your forks up
