I remember stuffing 6 12s in the trunk of my crown… now their doing 8 12s but it seem like boxes like this don’t need that many subs just good quality and power!

Spot on as usual,great trunk design, having the port to the side not only ensures it won't suffocate in my experience the port firing into the side of the trunk helps in pressure loading the trunk since it's allready hard to get the bass from the trunk to the cabin your set up works best.

Got a 97 grandmarquis yup it’s the same trunk for all. I got 2 15’s I used almost all of the trunk on both sides to get as much cubic feet as possible

@@bigmarbigmar8158 yeah man I'll have to go bandpass sounds like it will be the loudest.I'll be only pushing 2 orion xtr 12's 600 watts with a soundqubed 1200 watt so just basic stock alternator trying to stay on a budget you know.

Now I hope ol boy going to use some threaded inserts and bolts just in case he have to take them in and out and don't want to strip the wood.. box too damn pretty to mess up that way

I have a 97 marquis. I like this box. I have 2x skar zvx 12v2 subs. I was thinking this would work well for me if I built the box higher. The subs call for 3 cubes each. I was thinking about tuning it a bit higher 38hz or so, I like to listen to old school Rap from the 90's and 2000's.
