I used to listen to this C.D. often. With 4 kids and a wife that hated cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes, we developed an unspoken agreement. While I was cleaning up and washing dishes, anyone who complained about the music being too loud got drafted into helping me with it. One part of this song that fit. The other line that I also could relate to was "the rise and fall of Mary Ellen's hairdo". My daughter, Mary Ellen, took the sizzors to her hair about the time I started listening to this C.D., lol. Also, their's a book I read by Greg Bear, "The forge of God". And There is a part in that book that talks about the entire east coast being blown up. Ironic.
