Croydon Trams: On Street - East Croydon to West Croydon and Back

Here in Gothenburg we have lots of trams. In the city centre trams and pedestrians mix a lot with people walking right next to the trams all the time. Accidents rarely happen there though because both tram drivers and pedestrians are highly aware of each other and the danger. Most accidents that do happen occur outside of the city centre where trams run on their own separate right of way. That's because speeds are higher and drivers don't expect people to be there.

Excellent as ever. You probably already know this, but one can get some good shots of Reeves Corner etc from the Roman Way flyover.

Never thought about that. My main concern on the flyover was getting my bicycle over to the other side without getting killed. I only found the way under it on the way back.

There is a depot at Therapia Lane on the Wimbledon branch. The control centre may be there, but I can't find any information on this.

As I understand it, the interlacing is to ensure that the point blades are in a bit of road not used by other traffic.

I like the Bombardier CR4000 trams as they are bit more quieter. But I don’t mind the Stadler Variobahn trams that came into service first I think before the Bombardier CR4000 trams.
