CRS inspection & High Speed trial run on newly laid Ambalappuzha - Harippad double line

CRS inspection held on new Ambalappuzha Harippad which is expected to open on 8-3-2020
Speed trials were done at 110km/hr where train reached 112kmph max
18km line construction started way back in 2011 which help a lot in solving the conjunction in this route
Loco : AJJ WAP4 #22766
New line will be opened in March and old line will be closed till September for underpass works. so technically single line traffic will still continue till September as new line will be used for both up and down trains

This is kerala. Very high population density. Land acquisition is a huge hurdle. The people whose land is to be acquired will file cases and further appeals. That is the biggest problem in kerala
