How do I get it to come out with 100 watts?
@joseGonzalez-sz4yr2 жыл бұрын

Obrigado 73

Saudações. Tem como melhorar a potência do SS-7900 ?

Sorry for replying in English! I also used a 'translator', to read you message. Why would you increase the power of that radio? Is 50W too low? From 50 to 100W, it is only half of a 'S'-unit! Not more then +3dB! Nobody will see, or hear it! Maybe you neighbors, will hear you, in their radios or TV-set's! The better way could be, to 'use' an external PA, with a good and working output-filter! Price of such an 'elaborated' and 'not disturbing the neighbors'- PA, will be more than double or tripple the price, of your new bought radio! And the power has to be equal, or more then 200W, instead of 50W, comming from the radio! All things will getting worse, the more power you will put out of this set-up! When band-conditions are 'really good', less than 5W will be enough, to make intercontinental contacts very easy. Spend your money for a better antenna. A good antenna is the best 'amplifier' you can get, and most of the time, for less money! You will 'hear you buddies' even better, with a good 'areal' ! No expensive 'digital- filters' are neccesarry, any more to hear through the bad conditions, ... ! I started about 42 years back with "CB"-radio, and went up, to 'HAM radio'. This is also a solution you can go! A better one, and you can 'learn' so much, for yourself, and for you life. Sorry for my bad English, it is not my native tounge. - Go ahead, don't stand still! - 73 de Markus - db9pz - (my HAM radio call - QTH: JN39fq - 3miles/5km east of LX)

Well, basicly he is showing you how to destroy your radio. This transceiver is not build for 100 watt output. There is a good reason why it´s set for 30-60 watt output. You can do as showed in this video, but your finals won´t last long.

Use the 'buildt in' translator! It will make automaticly 'English sub-titles', that are good to read, ... ! It helped me much, to understand, most of the stream, the rest of the video, is self-explanning, ... ! I also replied to 'others', via 'translator' and it worked really good! 73 de Markus - db9pz (JN39fq - 3miles/5km east of LX)
