The GE set is an RCA when they were acquired by Thomson. It has that infamous CTC177 chassis that had bad soldering on the PC board (tuner grounds, notably). The tuner was integrated as part of the main board which contributed to the problem(s). I lost count of how many of these I fixed under warranty.

Leaving that woodgrain tv stand behind was tough to watch. That along with the woodgrain crt and a woodgrain Atari 2600 would be a brilliant little Atari corner in any game room.

@@gameselectronicsrus3909 They are definitely rare, I’ve only ever seen one go up for sale once locally and the seller wanted $500 for it firm, so that was the end of that… but they do have a pretty impressive picture and are very stacked with inputs
