I felt this song made the film a layer deeper with its themes of love. I agree that a lot of the film can seem superficial and cheesy at times, but I really liked how dam good it created a sense of pity for Sebastian falling in love despite his initial intentions - not to mention the beautiful bitter sweet symphony at the end

The story is long ago, I am the person who personally found Edward Shearmur's personal e-mail, contacted him, begged him to release the unreleased score, and he literally sent it all to me via e-mail, back when broadband first started, all in FLAC. I spread it out from there on SoulSeek.
