Cruise control on a 2024 Nissan Sentra with Brad Allen

I would set the diatance for the closest distance so everyone doesnt cut you off or if you get behind someone its not so eager to slow down so fast.

I agree, I would too, but I don't think you can. It is a safety feature that is built into that cruise control function, so the car is preset to that distance from the factory. It's probably a requirement for it to be like that. But, maybe their is a way to change it and I don't know about it.

@kbaelectrical is a distance button on the steering wheel. there are 3 settings to choose from. Look on the steering wheel buddy!!! Having it set for max distance is annoying because as soon as someone gets infront of you it brakes hard even though they aren't close because it's trying to stay super far away but you can choose different setting right on the steering wheel on the right side

Thanks, I did not know that was what that button did. Now I know. It definitely needed to be fixed.
