We did it two years ago and up to now the kids can’t stop talking about it. It is one of the best excursion we ever did. When we were inside the cave the guide told us to turn off our headlights to see how dark it gets and I reach underwater and grab my wife’s behind and she screamed so loud, that was priceless.

My brother and I did the cave tubing excursion in Belize in '04! It was great to relive the experience with you all. Loved their idea of rapids Butts Up. It was a truly great experience.

I didn’t kno some meds came from the rainforest wen the guide ate the turmite poo it reminded me of bear grills. It looks awesome!!! It looks more fun than cave snorkelling. Bats are awesome!!!

We found a cave tubing that transported your tube for you. Because it is a very long walk. Also, water shoes with sturdy sloes or a pair of old tennis shoes

Okay so this is a way better company to Cave Tube with than the one we used in 2010. I had to do the back stroke through the cave while my kids held on to my tube. I didn't have a guide to pull us through. I was exhausted!

Heather Cronkhite u should definitely make Belize a stop - we didn't do the tubing but the swim with the sharks and rays - LOVED IT even tho I don't swim. I stayed in the boat but it was still cool to see all the sea life come that close - and the lunch we had was really good. was a bit of a long boat ride out and back but that was awesome as well! I think of the 3 ports we visited that was my favorite

We are doing this excursion in September. sailing on the dream. I understand the walk to the tubing is quite a hike, like 40 minutes. No problem for me, but I'm thinking it might be hard for a few people we are with.

It was really only about a 20-25 minute walk and that was stopping often to learn about wildlife. The walk was 0.8 miles and the terrain was fine, the only somewhat strange part was crossing the river.

Would you recommend tubing for someone that can’t swim? Do they ever mention how deep the water is in the cave?

You never leave the tube and the water is not fast moving. It does get deep within the cave, but your butt is planted firmly in the tube. You only know it's deep because the guide is swimming instead of walking. You will also have a life jacket on. You will be fine!

So glad you enjoyed it! We used our GoPro for this video because we were not sure how wet we would get. The camera never got wet but better to be safe! Ethan is doing great, Cameron just left today.
