We are just back from our first cruise, and We specifically booked this room for our Norwegian cruise because of this video, and we were not disappointed. When it was pelting down for the Olden sail away we were well sheltered and didn’t miss a thing. We are now total cruise converts, We’ve booked a similar room on Arvia for the Med next year.

Great cabin & balcony!!! My friends just had a cabin similiar on Princess, so they asked the room steward if they could get a pool lounger out there, guess what, he brought one for them!! Never hurts to ask... they enjoyed it!

just got back from our first cruise on iona,cabin 10461 which was just down from the one shown here,have also just watched your ship review and wish i had seen it before we went as all the info would have been very useful.we really enjoyed the ship and the experience would definitly help if and when we go again.our opinion of the ship and its facilities is very similar to yours and we would be happy to sail on her again.

That’s a big room number to remember. I definitely prefer listening to Paul with the shower door closed 😂 the Captain usually has a balcony like that on the bridge so he can see when he’s parking 😂 great cabin 👍🏻

I actually saw one of these tours last night, and couldn't believe the size of that balcony! We had one of these 'stick out' balconies on Celebrity Silhouette, and spent so much more time in the cabin as a result!

Do you plan to sail on Arvia this year? We went in Arvia in March around the Caribbean, loved the seaview cabin on deck 4. Booked to go again in June around the med 😎

Hey guys. That queen bed, is it two singles ? My buddy and I are going in that cabin and choose it for the size of the balcony plus they told us it had a queen bed and a single so would be great to get your opinion on it, the bed settee would take up all the room or get them to make two beds up ? We are not a fan of the P&O drinks package but Marella's cruises are quite a bit more expensive than the equivalent P&O cruise so its as they say swings and roundabouts.

what i dont understand is there is much more space in your cabin on the Iona so why not put a bath into the bathroom, i think the word BATHROOM should give a clue to what should be in there ie BATH room. Its not called a shower room is it . on the new sun princess she is so much bigger then sky but in a mini suite there is a bath on sky princess , but on the sun princess bigger cabins but NO god dam BATH even the mini suite don't have them . sun princess is forcing anyone who wants a BATH to pay double for what sky princess asks for .

After our 5 Royal Class Princess Cruises and our Iona cruises we think they are on a par food and entertainment wise. Cabin wise in fact you have to pay mini suite prices to get a similar sized cabin with a 3 seater sofa on Princess, which you get as standard on Iona. Princess do have the tech and Princess Plus packages though which we ike. Horses for courses!

Those balcony's are the awful ones. Who designed them, what were they thinking. They aren't private at all. You see the person next door and everyone sees you. Ruins it for the people next door if they want a private balcony because that room now makes their balcony no longer private. We were unfortunate to have a room next to one of these at Christmas.

This ship is so disappointing for a new ship. The wardrobe is so close to the bed it causes issues for the other occupant if you are at the wardrobe and the bedside tables are so narrow they are a joke. As a new ship it could’ve been so much more opulent. Speciality restaurants are open plan to the Atrium and the food was so so. Service has dropped. Staff are not proactive and the MDR food is now only average. Sky Princess is such a better ship and the staff are so much better. P&O have slipped post pandemic. Their only advantage now is price. Our base level now is Princess not P&O.

We love Princess too but must say from a cabin comparison, you get much more with P&O as standard than you do with Princess, to get a good sized cabin with a 3 seater sofa you have to go to mini suite with Princess, and they still have the dreaded shower curtains LOL! We would happily cruise with either!
