I have RCL but once we hit diamond plus, I think we'll switch over to Celebrity. Great video!

I think RC has the best bang for your buck. Especially if you live in Florida. You can stack cruise nights “points” much quicker with the short cruised booking a suite; those get you double rewards.

I really like the fact that RC group matches for all of their cruise lines. I recently decided to cancel a Carnival and Princess (the were refundable) cruise I had booked and replaced them with another RCL cruise and a Celebrity and a large part of it was because of the matching which Carnival group doesn't do.

Platinum with NCL and we really enjoy it. However we are ready to start experiencing other cruise line so this is great information! Celebrity is on our wish list.

We are diamond on Roya, Elite on Celebrity. The perks on Celebrity, "Do Not" come anywhere near Royal. I only drink Black Coffee, no sugar. No fancy coffees. Do not have any use for internet, or other so-called perks on Celebrity. As you said, the drinks (4) for me. free photo, and 24 hours free beat 8 hours on Celebrity. Have done a few cruises on Celebrity and find Royal beats them hands down. Thanks for the great videos. This Is Just My Option. We each have our own.

I agree Carnival is really a joke for rewards. Seems like I have been at gold status for ever and we really don't get anything..

Carnival has the lowest high status 75 day platinum and 200 diamond

Royal and Celebrity, I feel are the best. They status match, and I love free Wi-Fi 24/7. Not, only do you get a free cruise at 700 points, but every 350 points there after. NCL is one and done. I am pinnacle, zenith, and diamond on NCL.

Nice video! Thanks for sharing it. Please make one on status matching among lines. I hold Diamond Plus with Royal and I know I can status match with MSC and Royal's sister brands (Celebrity and Silversea). Any other? I wish I could status match with Norwegian and Carnival.

FYI, as of 10-17-24, Carnival and NCL do not match loyalty with other cruise lines. RCL will match, as you noted, with Celebrity, MSC and Virgin.

We are Diamond with royal and Elite with Celebrity. Royal has, by far , the best package.

Hey i know you love Royal but also Know by watching your videos on "Excell class" you feel different about Carnival than use too. You're making the rewards program sound better than it is for Royal. You don't get free laundry with Royal you get 10.00 off. You don't get priority Embarkation or Debarkation at you level either with Royal. Carnival give priority at both levels. Carnival platinum level has free laundry from 3 -6 bags depending on length of trip. Free dinner with the captain. Dinner for two at a premium restaurant. There is also a cocktail party. I get it i am Gold and it sucks. Platinum and Diamond is where you have fun at Carnival. NCL has the best lower-level perks with the 2 free dinners.

On RCL Diamond Plus and Pinnacle get One Free wash and fold bag of laundry on sailings 5+ nights. Currently the price of wash and fold is $34.99. Discounts are provided on wash & fold for other tiers. The real boost as noted in the video is the 4, 5 or 6 free drinks each day that are perks for the highest tiers. Carnival does good marketing for sail packages for those who gamble, but I also think between the two, RCL has the better perks. I am also Gold on Carnival. Diamond Plus on RCL.😎😎😎

The primary reason I prefer Royal over Carnival has to do with how you accrue your points. Both Carnival and Royal give you one point per night of your cruise. However, if you are a solo cruiser, Carnival does NOT give you double-occupancy credit. With Royal, if you pay double-occupancy for the cabin as a solo, you get two points per night. I will be at Diamond with Royal February of next year. That will be my 11th cruise. I've only done three- and four-nighters. Getting to Diamond level on Carnival on the same schedule would require double the cruises, regardless of whether or not I soloed...which is wrong. Royal FTW.

@@NeilTruick Great Info, I didn't know about the double occupancy credit. Makes complete sense

First…. Thank you for making this video. I noticed that your videos tend to be highly biased towards Royal Caribbean. As a KZbinr or influencer, celebrating how great a company is tends to result in the company either raising prices or cutting back perks. It is essential for people not to overly celebrate a brand and foster a competition first mindset where the consumer wins. Also, there is no mention of other major cruise lines in this video. For example, Virgin, Princess which are also very mainstream cruise lines.

She can post what she wants and her opinions from her experience! Just like you are able to post your opinion of her presentation here. The nice thing is, if you don't agree with it or you don't like it, you can keep it moving! Opinions are like mothers...everybody has one. 🤔🤔🤔

Thanks for your feedback! This video was based on my own personal experiences with four different cruise lines’ loyalty programs. I have never sailed with Virgin or Princess so I don’t have any experience with their loyalty program. I grew up sailing with Royal Caribbean for about 20 years, so that’s why I have the highest status. Thanks!
