A I've been to specialty dining on 4 ships. Each time I left the specialty dining wishing that I had eaten in the MDR.

A - mostly for the speciality coffee at anytime, as well as, sodas, milkshakes and mock tails! I can try the specialty restaurants that’s free at lunchtime on sea days, other than that, I’m satisfied with the main dinning room and other free choices! Thanks for sharing 🛳️🛳️

A drink package, not that I’m a big drinker but I like having the option, sodas , waters and even a mixed drink with a little umbrella make you feel like you’re on vacation.😅

I like Juneau's proprosal - having one day a week to give the hospitality workers a breather is a good move. And the 4th is a national holiday, everyone should have a chance to celebrate.

They should have been arrested. Hopefully the company will take this further with the port, as we know, docking in port is vastly expensive, plus the cost of any payments made in lieu of not stopping to the passengers.

I suspect the cancellation of the stop in the French city negatively affects far more French citizens than the 20 protesters so pleased with themselves. Lack of action by local marine law enforcement is inexcusable.

Definitely the drinks package because the specialty dining is really not that expensive. If you wanna go have a steak dinner or go to the French restaurant it’s not that expensive whereas the drinks they of course are much more expensive so for me it’s a better value to take the drinks.

A. I dont drink alcohol really, but on the princess cruise it was very nice to have coffees, sodas, and juices delivered. Their package deal included the food though and we really enjoyed the specialty dining. I would probably rather have the specialty drinks but damn Sabbatini's had some amazing grub and Alfredo's pizza was perfect.

B. We are very light drinkers, but we love to eat. On our last cruise, we had only 2 drinks each for the entire week. Alcohol is extremely costly and not a healthy option, but we can find healthy food at all restaurants.

Your channel would be the perfect venue to list, on a regular basis, those ports-of- call that are hostile to us cruisers. That just might put pressure on the cruise lines to cut them out of their itineraries, thus depriving them of our tourist dollars. Why would we want to visit a place where we are going to be harassed and perhaps assaulted?

A I almost never drink, but cruising is one of the few times I do. There are plenty of food options already included and this makes a fun treat. (I do spread the drinks out wisely. I have never been drunk in my life and I don’t ever want to be.)

For those activists, every other country should permanently block them from traveling. They can just stay in their own country. So ridiculous that nothing was done to them. They should face consequences. They cost other business owners money that would have been sent. They cost the port money. They wasted the time of the cruise ship, which costs money. There is a way to do things, and they went about it in the wrong way. There should be consequences.

RE lice one thing not mentioned, if the braider has super long nails, the nits and lice are under their nails which they use to help separate your hair strands. So your own comb wont stop that issue.

B - Specialty Dinning. I don't drink alcohol and I believe that the drinks that are offered with the cruise fair is enough.

The problem with drinks packages is that the cost of them far outweighs what many people can comfortably drink safely, particularly on days when you are off the ship, and have only those few hours in the evening on the ship. It amounts to about 8 basic drinks per day. It's even less economical if one partner in a cabin does not drink at all, but still has to buy the package.

Hey Jason. I think the drink package…I’m not really into fancy dining. I’m a simple (boring) gal. 🤭. You should only go to cruise 🚢 ship recommended places…and never go anywhere alone.

A- Drink Package and it does not have to be large. Perhaps 1 or 2 per day. It could even include everything except alcohol. This would not be too much of an added expense stretched among crusiers dollars and open up the beverage selection.

A. Not that I drink a lot, but I find I’m happy with most of the regular dining. We recently sailed on celebrity and had unlimited specialty dining with our suite. We ate in specialty restaurants 6 times on a 20 day cruise, just because we thought we should . The food was excellent but it was also excellent in luminae

Wow looks like you guys are having a wonderful time in Mexico, those pyramids are something I have been wanting to visit. Still we would more than likely fly there and stay at a hotel as opposed to a cruise to see them. As we live so far away. Plus I would need more than a day or so to look around. A few hours wouldn’t cut it for me. Lol, Enjoy and be safe.

The package would really depend on the cruise line. For Carnival, definitely A because the food is just nothing to write home about. For Royal, it’s a toss up but if I had to choose, I’d say drink package with that one too. Norwegian, I’d say specialty dining all the way.

A- The drink package offers water, soda, specialty coffee, and alcoholic drinks. The drink package is very expensive compared to specialty dining. I usually go to a specialty restaurant at least 4 days of a seven day cruise, and it's still cheaper than the drinks package.😊

I bet the local businesses didn't see the blockades in the same way as the local enforcement, some of these ports relies on cruise tourist for their livelihood, like we was just in Alaska, and the tour guide told us that all the jewelry stores close when there's no ships in port.
