Thank you for the video! Good information as always. Going on cruise Jan 6 on MSC Seascape for 7 days Caribbean.

Thanks so much for watching! I hope you enjoy the Seascape! I really thought that the Butcher's Cut on all three of my MSC sailings was very much worth the up charge! The Ocean Cay specialty restaurant was also very good on my last two.

Here is a tidbit. When booking flights, give extra time for the return leg. We just got home yesterday from a NCL Getaway trip out of NYC. Our flight back to Toronto was scheduled for 12:30. The ship was late getting clearance to disembark, and we got to the airport with less than 15 minutes to spare. I would _much_ rather sit on my bum in a airport for five hours than to deal with that stress again. Nevertheless, all the best on your upcoming adventure.

That’s great advice - thanks for sharing! I tend to try late afternoon for that exact reason or just stay an extra day if the budget allows! We are having a very nice cruise although it got off to a very bumpy start!

Great video, very helpful and speech is always at good pace and clear. I know I don’t need to bring bottled water onboard but just wondering if I am allowed to. We want to bring juice box and pop for kids, sometimes they want some late at night and maybe out at excursions. We’d like to avoid running to the buffet in the middle of the night if we can. I heard refilling water at the buffet is not recommended, not sure if packing drinks in our luggage is allowed.

You are normally able to bring juice boxes for the kids up to a 12 pack. You can also bring up to a 12 pack of bottled water on most cruise lines. Please check with your travel advisor or the line's website for current policies. I always recommend these days to bring a stainless steel lined water bottle and ALWAYS fill them up at the buffet or at the designated refill stations all over most modern ships. Some older ships do not have facilities to allow tall water bottles to fit under the opening and if the mouth section touches the water or ice spout the cruise line does not allow that. Just use a tall water glass to fill the ice as well as the water and you will be fine. This saves so much if you do not have a drink package. Just be respectful of those behind you in line because this does take extra time and you will be holding up the line for others. I am always aware and respectful of those in line behind me on land and at sea. Great time to fill using the glass method is early in the day.
