This is so cool. I have watched this video a few times already. I had a family come over my home to watch it with us. We all enjoyed it and decided to share it with another family who is willing to drive 3 hours to watch it with us. Guess you can't go wrong with this video. It's very nice to see that a great video can get do great reviews. I will be watching it again tonight with our neighbor.

Nice job on this. Not practical here in MI and other states that have bottle deposit laws but still useful as a garbage compactor. Now that I think about it, I am wondering just how strong the crusher is? I do scrap other aluminum items to take to the scrap yard, and if it could crush thicker aluminum like an electric motor housing or heat sinks from electronics then that would increase it's usefulness.

actually the can is worth no more in Germany (or any other place for that matter), than in the US. You pay extra for the can when you buy the soda, and you get that back when you return the can. THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS IN THE DESCRIPTION "This is my homemade can baler I made to save room. So I could wait until I had enough to take in and recycle." its not "if he were to recycle" he recycles. then he weighs one of the bales at 19 lbs so if you do the math, 19 x $0.75 = approx $15 per bale. how much he gets depends on how long he waits before cashing in, and whether he waits for the price of aluminium to peak.
