This is so cool. I have watched this video a few times already. I had a family come over my home to watch it with us. We all enjoyed it and decided to share it with another family who is willing to drive 3 hours to watch it with us. Guess you can't go wrong with this video. It's very nice to see that a great video can get do great reviews. I will be watching it again tonight with our neighbor.

He could easily earn $100 in an hour or so doing that its just down to how many cans he can get....if he put the word out properly and managed to get enough cans from his city could make a decent living doing that...each one off those bails is worth about $10..

@Jamie McCarthy done scrap metal for years mate well aware off how much you need lol...theres a reason dude was doing it and made that crusher he wasn't just doing it for fun....its about 80 pence a kilo so yh about same amount off cans...bright wire copper is worth the most I spent days stripping copper wire and bagging the wire thats not worth stripping and lead and heavy clean copper and braizery copper ....if you got a crusher like that and can get cans you can earn a decent wage mate

@AK47 KUSSSHH fyi if you decide not vaccinate your child and he gets a disease that's been prevented for decades you can be charged publicly for operating and controling biological virus. I.e. biological weapon. A parent of child can b taken to court by public which is still legal unlike lynching. So yea deciding to put the public at risk can cost you your freedom and your kids. If you don't like that get on a boat and go into international waters or Africa where vaccines are scarce and were anti vacciners want America like.

Nice job on this. Not practical here in MI and other states that have bottle deposit laws but still useful as a garbage compactor. Now that I think about it, I am wondering just how strong the crusher is? I do scrap other aluminum items to take to the scrap yard, and if it could crush thicker aluminum like an electric motor housing or heat sinks from electronics then that would increase it's usefulness.

In Scandinavia we have a thing called "pant" so we pay 1 krone extra when we buy the drink and later we can put it in in a machine to get the money back. The bottles/cans are recycled. Very enviroment friendly, as many people actively look for bottles to "pant" them :)

actually the can is worth no more in Germany (or any other place for that matter), than in the US. You pay extra for the can when you buy the soda, and you get that back when you return the can. Some US states have a similar deposit system for cans, and I think all of them have them for bottles. It was meant to promote recycling before recycling became a fad.

THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS IN THE DESCRIPTION "This is my homemade can baler I made to save room. So I could wait until I had enough to take in and recycle." its not "if he were to recycle" he recycles. then he weighs one of the bales at 19 lbs so if you do the math, 19 x $0.75 = approx $15 per bale. how much he gets depends on how long he waits before cashing in, and whether he waits for the price of aluminium to peak.
