I'm convinced people have lost their minds post 2020. I would'nt want my kids walking around in bikinis outside of the pool area, people forget that predators exist everywhere even on vacation. I’ve seen people come into the buffet is just a robe. Sometimes the crew stopped them and sometimes they don’t. Idk why people think it’s ok to go to a dining venue is just a bath robe. You would r do that on land, soooo…..I don’t get it.

They engage in outrageous, even dangerous, behavior on airplanes, in airports, on cruises, in movie theaters, in grocery stores - everywhere. Those guys smoking weed on the balcony broke two ironclad rules of cruising: no smoking except where designated (which is never on balconies) and no drugs anywhere. You should have turned them in and gotten them kicked off cruise. PS Just "joined" as member.

Sorry to say that I just got off a Celebrity cruise and every night starting around 5:00 the whole hallway (and into our cabin) smelled like pot. This is the second time it’s happened on Celebrity for us. There doesn’t seem to be anything staff can do because they can’t figure out where it’s coming from.

I've never understood the behavior of people on vacation period. I mean they are on a cruise ship playing a game on vacation. If someone is able to get uptight in that situation then I do not have much hope for how they behave in the "real world". I do not accept the excuse that it may be the only cruise they ever get to take or that they only get to do it once a year, etc. There is no excuse for rude, entitled behavior. As for the 14 year old girls in the casino in their bikini's -- no, they do not belong there no matter what they are wearing. I believe you're right about the standards for men's swimwear vs women's. I have some theories on that but they may be a bit controversial and I'm not trying to cause arguments in your comments section. Thanks for another entertaining video!

Like your work! I often plan surprise trips for my wife and I. At any time my wife tells me about something she likes or would like to do, it goes on my list. Often I show her something (a location or activity) on TV or in a magazine and check her reaction on it. If she likes it - it goes on my list. I start planing those trips in all details usually 2 years in advance, trying to fulfill as many of her wishes/likes on my list, even researching the weather statistics in all locations over the last few years. She will be told the date the trip starts and ends and the weather stats (so she can pack accordingly). That's it. Gladly we both have fun doing it this way.

One of my favourite travel vloggers surprised his 11 year old nephew with a business class trip on an international flight. He had told the boy they were going to take a tour of the plane. He was made to sit down and out ion his seat belt and then the engines started up......the boy was beside himself with excitement. It was his first plane ride and he loved every second of it. Another cruise vlogger told his nephews they were going to tour a cruise ship....they had no idea they were booked on it. It was a huge surprise for the delighted boys.

A cruise is always a microcosm of the world. You are always going to have some people who walk a different walk. I’ve learned to just laugh and embrace as long as the different folk are not negatively impacting my experience. As to the girls in bikinis, them being there, while not in accordance with the rules, are not hurting anyone. The guy on his balcony is free entertainment. In the social media age, more and more people seem to think they live in a bubble and behave in very selfish ways. They have also become more passive-aggressive. I don’t get it but it definitely seems to be a thing. I try to just walk away and not give them the power to impact my behavior. Then the problem stays their problem. I do the all the plans for our cruises and I talk about it non stop from the time I book. I send KZbin videos to the group, talk, talk, talk and it never fails - as we are in route to the port my husband will ask what ports we are visiting. I laugh and tell him but it’s irritating! We did Liberty of the Seas this past Christmas and had a junior suite. Our neighbors smoked weed on the balcony all day and evening. Even the hallway smelled. I am very allergic so I had to never go out there plus many times I could not even be in my room. I hardly used it and sad to say, nobody at guest services cared or did a thing about it. I’m now afraid to go on royal ships again. They acted like I was a Karen or I was the issue. I just didn’t want to have a medical emergency and I never expected this on a cruise.

I heard a joke that every couple has that one planner and one go-with-the-flow. I'm the planner. My husband asks me a couple of times what ship and where we are going, but never remembers. I ask for input about excursions, but everybody is like "whatever" so I just book whatever looks fun and is within budget. Not to defend the shorts lady, but men have dangley parts that have a tendency to peek out in baggy shorts. Kids in the casino should have been asked to leave by crew. Pickle ball guy was a jerk and probably acts like that everywhere. The couple sitting for the parade may have been unable to stand. My husband and I both use scooters and no matter what venue we were in on our last cruise (even in the handicapped seating area) some jerk would come and stand in front of us. I have had this happen at concerts, sporting events, SRO comedy shows, even at Disney for the parade. Its very rude and as you said entitled. If there are people seated and you must get in front of them, then have the courtesy to sit down and not block their view.

As far as sitting, if you aren’t sitting in the front people will likely stand in front of you. Sitting people on scooters or otherwise don’t automatically start the first row, they need to get to the first row.

I've bunched my shorts upwards to darken my upper thighs on a cruise ship pool deck as well. Didn't feel like walking all the way to the cabin to change. She was rude and petty. RC has a dress code. No swimsuits anywhere with the exception of the pool deck. Even at the buffet, swimsuits are to be covered up. No bare feet except by the pools, either.

Yes, people should not be smoking period. I just came off a RC cruise. Lots of times I went out to my balcony and the smell of people smoking was very bad. I did not experience half of the BS I saw on RC when I went on Disney cruise. Just saying. Maybe that is why DCL is twice as expensive. However, to be fair, overall the RC cruise was very good.

Maybe the pickleball procedure is different at the other guy's home courts. In some places the winners get to stay on the court. Perhaps he figured as the winner he could continue playing with 3 other, new people. If clear rules about just one game aren't posted I could see where he might feel it was still his court. As a new sport on cruise ships the rules are still being worked out. It's possible he viewed you as the rude person insisting he leave the court when he felt he had the right to continue playing.

I was on Adventure of the Seas a few weeks ago. There was a guy lounging on one of the sofas in the Champagne Bar wearing only swim trunks. No shirt. Just literally laying there as if it was a poolside lounge chair, staring at his phone. Class is out the door, and RC personnel don't enforce their own rules. It used to be nice going on cruises, but 'Idiocracy' brain-dead people are making it more like strolling the aisles of Wal*Mart. And it doesn't matter how much wealth a person may or may not have. It seems too many people have no respect, don't follow rules, and are too busy trying to push their way around.

Pickleball has some cult-like followers lol😂 Here in Palm Springs, what was an easy game for Seniors has become a cutthroat competition. Sheesh. RE: swimwear for men. I do wear a swim t-shirt and trunk/shorts (Lands End) but I’m 67 and people don’t need to see any more of me! Side note: once the tee becomes wet it’s very clingy, so then I’m pudgy with blue and orange stripes! Guess the defeats the purpose.

Hi Morgan. Another great video. As a fellow Minnesotan, love the t-shirt. Let’s see, people shouldn’t be smoking on the ship unless it’s a designated area. And for my personal preference I wish they would allow recreational use also, but I know it’s not legal everywhere. I hope you said something to the women who made the nasty comment about your shorts. That was just plain rude. As for the people in the chairs, to bad, move up a spot if you don’t want people standing in front of you. Pickle ball guy is just a miserable selfish jerk. Can’t win with people like that.

Entitled people are getting very popular now. That guy on the court should have left the court and got in line. Funny, I pull my shorts up the same to get my legs tanned. I also pull up my swim short legs to do it. LOL I do it for the same reason. If somebody complains, I'll ask if they prefer I take the off instead.

Fyi. Never would i sail on Carnival ,did it once k not worth the savings ,id rather wait a few 3xtra months and stick with Norwegian
