One hotel’s solution to this was to put blinds in front of the bathroom glass ON THE OUTSIDE WITH THE ADJUSTER OUTSIDE TOO.

Worst experience I had was no door at all, which would have been bearable since it was located in the mini hallway after the door, BUT they installed a mirror opposite the non existent door. When you were on the bed you could look directly into the bathroom. It was me and a friend in the room and we would always turn our backs to the mirror, when one person went to use the bathroom💀

The go carts are a charge because with a possible 6000 guests it would be a mess.

Also if you're wheelchair friendly bathroom has a door that isn't wide enough to accommodate a chair and you have a detachable shower head but it's been left by staff WAY up high it's not really that accessible.

For the buffet question what's wrong with asking if it's ok to grab a spoonful of what it is you want. If they say no then go and get in line. There's a way to be polite about it. Manners are getting taught less and less. My kids aren't always the best with me, they think it's funny to mess with Mom, their are adults they have great manners to others.

We've never tried NCL - were planning to before the pandemic, and then again after things got restarted. But with their doing away with shows and entertainment, and raising their prices so much (although that really applies to all the lines right now), I have thus far just steered away from NCL. It would take a few margaritas to get me to book them right now. Like the comparison Morgan.

Morgan, I agree with you 100%. People can be selfish and entitled. There's no such thing as manners anymore. I notice that people do what they want, when they want and how they want to do it, with no respect to others around them. Even in restaurants. Families with their 4 kids or so, sitting around the table on their cell phone. Watching movies and games with the volume up ...beep beep beep. in pajamas, and their plush toys. Like it was their at home dining room. You cant say anything because you will become the wrong one. I've gotten so fed up with the general public. Let's just blame it on COVID.

This is so annoying if you’re staying with any other person that is not your partner. And even then not everyone is comfortable doing that stuff in front of their partner. The only positive that I can see is that it looks modern, and it lets in a bit of natural light into the bathroom. But for me at least privacy is more important.

So true, nothing beats the waterfront on ncl! ...except maybe a good margarita LOL QUESTION: How do the spa areas compare? I've become totally addicted to NCL's thermal suites because of the hydrotherapy pool and heated loungers. Does RCCL have something like that??

Margarita! I think the app is way better on NCL on the iPhone. I haven’t been on NCL since February so it may have changed but there definitely wasn’t that pdf style dailies.

We loved your first book, and bought this second one. However, we are both in our 80's and found the print on this book so faint and so small, almost impossible for us to read. Just a thought for your next book..print a tad darker and a tad bigger would be perfect!

Hummmm, I think on Royal, there is a place called Solarium? Where on most ships it is indoor and climate controlled? This is a great place on the ship on Royal compares to the Observation lounge on NCL. The Solarium takes almost the entire front of the ship with a spectacular view with many places to sit and to relax with its own bar, restaurant and even its own hot tubs and world pools. The best thing about the Solarium is you have to be 18 to get in, well for the most part. Also on Royal, specially on Quantum, Oasis and Icon class ships, there are some outdoor sitting for certain restaurants in Central Park and also in the Boardwalk areas? Even on the top deck, you could find El Loco Fresh, great food BTW.

You are NOT weird! They were not women they were girls and no they shouldn't have been in the casino in the 1st place. I don't think a women would walk into a casino in a bikini! Like I said they were just young girls. Wondering where the parents were though 😮
