That boy of yours really loves to swim, doesn't he? I think I've seen him in the pool more than I've seen my own children swim... What a beautiful ship! MSC has really turned things around. I remember reading the reviews from a few years ago where people complained about the food, entertainment, and a whole host of other things. I'm quite impressed with what you've shown us!

Omg The video editing by Mr C really captured the feeling of the first day on board Be it +24 hrs of travel. we felt awful for you guys. We were so blown away by MSC meriviglia. The yacht club is so us Sheri and Mr C The room was a great size when it comes to cruise ships. Have to say, the ship was a 10+ and makes us want to try MSC. We have to admit that the Yacht club has so got us and look forward to see the rest of the adventure. Love you guys so much! Mike and Cheryl

Great video, makes us remember our wonderful 14 days cruise on these ship last august to the North Pole (Svalbard) . We were on a simple inside cabin, but still enjoyed the cruise a lot. Is a nice ship, with a fantastic crew.

Really great video! Wow. What an amazing ship. The "Happy Dance" was pretty amazing too. Made me think I should get one of those and then find me something amazing to dance about. Where are all of the people? The ship looks empty with the exception of the Chocolate Bar. I love an empty ship. :-) Not sure I could survive a flight from CA to Rome... another Wow! What an AMAZING video. You guys have honestly made us consider trying MSC. We are hardcore Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise fans and we would never consider any other cruise line. hard because with the yacht club you get a relatively private pool area, restaurant and buffet and a amazing butler service whereas the angled balcony gives a good view and unlimited spa so hard call

Yes! The balcony cabin has a outdoor whirlpool while the Yacht club offers better drink package. I am gonna have to give it a long thought. Btw, is the pool heated anywhere on the ship?

Great videos and tips! Wanted to suggest a countryside tour to kill some time between the Rome and Civitavecchia transfer so you don't get to the port too early. Traveled with my spouse, parents, sister and brother-in-law and we absolutely LOVED this tour. It was one of the highlights of our 16 day trip (Rome, Med cruise, Paris, Normandy, and London) in 2014, that we still talk about. If you schedule your transfer with Stefano's Rome Cabs this is an option - www.romecabs.com/tours/precruise-rome-countryside-tour/. They are an amazing transport company and our driver was great!

Civitavecchia port is not 15 minutes to Rome. It's an hour and a half to 2 hours.
