♿️-room in the back of the ship . When we were allowed to get in our rooms , hallways were blocked with suitcases, people helped us moving them to get the wheelchair through. Then getting out of the room was a challenge because rooms were being cleaned so the large carts were in the hallways , had to move them 🦽 could be 9 am or 2 pm , it was blocked. Hallways too narrow. Couple years ago at NLCJoy garden cafe had few ♿️tables , this cruise Joy had two tables in the back of the cafe . Too many obstacles . Staff was helpful, we enjoyed specialty restaurants, great food .

I can definitely see the draw to NCL, even elements of a premium - luxury line if you go Haven. I don't always care for how NCL handle problems but seems like great product in general. We just booked our first Princess cruise for next year, 10 nights out of Fort Lauderdale. We were going to do Baja on HAL, but I have flight upgrade certificates to first class, so why waste them on an hour flight? We considered a similar itinerary on Celebrity, but just watching video comparison of the breakfast buffet alone, I can see why Princess has better recent reviews.

We have sailed 7 times on Princess and the last one was this past Oct. This was our first cruise since Covid and we definitely noticed some changes (as probably most cruise lines). Just a tip for you…unless things have changed further, the food portions were quite small compared to pre-Covid. In fact, on 2 occasions when the Maître D’s checked in on our meal, we did mention this. They both said to just ask our waiter for extra vegetables, which we did on several occasions. (One dinner comes to mind…my salmon. The plate was completely void of anything else but I discovered a couple of green veg’s hidden underneath!) There is also noticeably fewer servers since they rely on people using the medallion app more to order. We didn’t order anything on it as we like to move around to wear off some of the extra calories! Princess is a great cruise line, very clean and well organized. I’m sure you will enjoy your trip!

Internet service is not good Also I just wish people would educate their kids, I got push, stump and found very rude people that literally would run you over just to get to a place first, omg I guess I got unlucky on my first cruise, too many rude people in one place

Was about to book and then heard the weight minimum on the one slide. My 12 and 14 yr olds and wife don’t meet the 120lb requirement. That’s ridiculous! Only in America are skinny people penalized 😂

It’s an unusual one and my son couldn’t go either- but after seeing it I understand why- they need weight to make it up and over the loop or they will get stuck - lots of other fun things to do onboard and honestly, the drop slide is REALLY scary!

I bet you work or were paid by Norwegian joy to do this 2 days ago I was on the joy I just arrived back on NY It was my first time cruising and have few things to say about your description , specially cagney’s restaurant, starting with one of the hostess, never smile and the food no so good. I was celebrating a birthday a very important, well they forgot the mashed potato and serve me a lonely filet mignon The mashed never arrived, I was so disappointed because this was one of the best and fancy places to go too, apparently. I did not like the service or the food to be honest I like best the Le Bistro Service here was amazing and the food was a lot better Look for a waiter Roy, what an incredible person

This was our 40th anniversary , first-time cruisers, the worst trip of our lives thus far, you have to pay for everything, canceled a day in Bermuda, only to sail us in a storm, so bad you couldn't even enjoy the ship, shows were canceled , water ride and Go-Karts were shut down. No refund was offered for the inconvenience. I will never sail with Norwegian again. Husband and I both disabled, were dropped off in our wheel chairs on the corner of 42nd St. and west side hwy. To be told to gather our luggage and make our way a cross the street, get your ride there. The worst for disabled people.

Yes and No... I have been on nearly every cruise line and I have had wonderful and bad experiences on all of them (except Disney, those were perfect, but you pay $$$$$). Because the experience is so varied, I no longer do the expensive rooms, I get the cheapest room, then if the weather sucks or service sucks or... at least I am not out tons of money. With that philosophy, I also get to do 2 cruises a year instead of only 1.
