Has anyone ever made a list of all Ben's food review quips (Well, sometimes they aren't in the food segments, but you know what I mean)? A Google doc, spreadsheet, or clip reel, perhaps? I love how he always comes up with a new one 💛 ... I've seen a lot of Sun Princess tours, and this video is the first to bring up a practical point I haven't seen mentioned before. I can't believe Princess decided to make people walk through a smoky casino to get where we need to go! I'm allergic to smoke! I thought with the crew-served buffet that Princess was indicating they care about their passengers' health 😪

I was on the same ship and bumped into Ben and David at our first port of call. They were so kind to me as I nearly lost it! Ben any good buffet will not let you reuse the same plate because of the risk of cross contamination. eating utensils easily transfer germs to your plate. If they let you reuse your plate, germs can be transferred to the serving tongs or even the gloved hands of the sever.

Crispy sausage advice - when you're back at home, Air Fry some Cumberland sausages, first for 8 minutes on normal Air Fry mode, turn them and give another 8 minutes. Then, choose Max Fry and do 5 minutes before turning them and cooking for a further 5 minutes. They come out an absolute treat, with a nice crispy outside, but still nice and chewy textured inside. Game changer, for me. Love sausages that are well done.

Fav desserts: 1. Carnival Melting Cake - super chocolaty, warm, molten midde. 2 Baked Alaska on HAL Alaskan cruise, it's not on all of the HAL itineraries. Swiss meringue so firm yet creamy, delicious ice cream and base cake layer was wonderful. All components are delicious, but the meringue "takes the cake". 😉

My favorite desert is always bread pudding, with a bourbon or rum sauce, my Granny made it great, takes me back 50 years. I've been on ten cruises & my favorite bread pudding was on a Celebrity ship & runner up was on a NCL cruise. I'll be on the MSC Seashore in two weeks checking on their bread pudding & in December the Sky Princess getting that bread pudding.. Can't wait. 😁🛳

We were on Princess cruise line in November for a month around Australia and Sarah was part of the cruise entertainment and I think she is now the director for the sun princess. She was fantastic, fun,friendly and miss her.

Stopping as I see things: I don't know if you call it food anxiety.... But I'd be uncomfortable with people picking out the food for me. I would feel very judged for what I want and how much I want to eat. Plus, food workers don't quite understand that I just want a taste of it. They give you too much in every "taste".. so that if I don't like it, I'll feel that my only 2 choices are: waste food that shouldn't have been wasted, or eat the food that I don't like .. so it's not wasted.

So glad to see power outlets on both sides of the bed! As a CPAP user, this is an enormous plus. It's really inconvenient to plug it in across the room, continually worrying about tripping over the cord. The color scheme of the room is beautiful. Love the soft, muted colors. Not sure if I like the balcon situation. I like being able to look right down into the sea.

I made sure to return from a trip to watch this video as soon as I got home!! It's my Sunday treat!! This video really reviewed the ship so well, from food, decks, layout issues, shows (or lack thereof lol), and more!! We have same balcony type room and the pics online do not do it justice for the calm, bright and modern relaxed vibe!! And who doesn't love a big couch? Love bread pudding, but it has to be my Granny's recipe. On the last cruise, I became addicted to their banana creme pie...until they brought out the chocolate fountain with lots of fresh fruit. That was absolutely fantastic and was the stuff that dreams are made of. Unfortunately, I almost got in trouble when I tried to just chug the chocolate directly.
