In pa they do a gas cap check cost me $25 a year . And a lot of the places that do them don't even check the cap on the car , they have one they know is good and use the same one every time .

Many of the smog check stations have a selection of gas caps that they'll sell you if yours fails that test.

I stopped showing my classic at shows sponsored by Cal Rod, Street Rods amongst few others as they tend to favor their friends or those they know thereby not judging independant cars. I know for a fact my cars been better at most shows they've judged. Others that have shown rides should've taken best overall as even mine stood no chance.
