Maybe he wasn't, but there's an episode in the first season where he references his wife. It's the one where he's wearing a brown suit or brown shoes. Regardless, the episode is "The Killing Kind". I think he mentions a wife in that episode.

I agree. Actually, after the first season, he was considered to have never been married. Anyway, somewhere along the way, they dropped Mrs. Boz! lol Was it ever determined who played Beamish?

I can't find any information on old Beamish. I just checked the closing credits and she didn't get a mention there (probably because no spoken lines). Dang it!

Yeah, I've looked before for her real name, and I've never been able to find it. I guess I'll have to ask Jaclyn Smith one day who played Beamish. The problem with that is that I don't have Jaclyn's number. Ugh!
