Cruising from South Haven, Indiana to Kouts, Indiana ~ December of 2024

Love this calming drive with that great music to go along with it. It is the day after Christmas when I am watching this so it's the perfect time for calm after all the chaos. It seems like it is quiet there with the snow cover. Snow always seems to deaden the sounds that you normally hear during any other season. It's kind of nice really. I remember walking around outside after a decent snow fall and only hearing the sound of the snow crunching under my feet and nothing else. Sometimes it makes you feel like you're the only one left living in the word because it's so quiet. I sure hope that you, Diane and all of your family had a great Christmas Paul. Once I'm out of winter hibernation I hope I can come back down that way and visit with you again. Looking forward to that anyway because I love Spring when the weather gets better. It makes me want to start moving again. The good thing about winter is it gives me a break and time to breath. So, every season has a reason I guess. Anyway, New Years is in just a few more days and I hope it brings you and yours nothing but good health, wealth and loads of happiness!! 🥰❤

That is very cool. I have always wanted to see the inside of that place. I’ve been around it my whole life. I see they are doing tours now. Me and the wife were talking about doing one. That sure does seem like a lot of scraping and painting. I live back there too in the late 80s. I lived in that subdivision by Wolf mansion. I remember we had well water.

It’s a really nice drive me and the wife are out there all the time. Our favorite restaurant and stores are up and down that road. Happy holidays to you, Dr.Diff from me and the wife also. Also 49 has some good spots too.
