Let's go all the way back to July 2022, which is when I took one of my absolute favourite cruises ever. I cruised on Discovery Princess from Alaska with two of my friends - one of whom was Laura. Let's kick off this BRAND NEW vlog series, and this one's a big one! Welcome onboard Costa Toscana (the new flagship cruise ship from Costa Cruises), for a week of fun with my friend Laura and I. We've previously cruised together TWICE, and it's now time to board Toscana!

Actually the fruit bowl was where they'd put snacks (Pringles, Kinder Bueno) before 2020. Two weeks ago on Diadema they were back :)

Nice video! Yeah the makeup station is only available in the ocean view cabins and the longer balcony cabins in the middle section of the ship. What is great with your configuration Fraser (bed, then sofa) is actually the desk that is indeed wayyy bigger which is handy when you need to get some work done (the one in the other configuration is I think too small) That's what "strange" on this ship... You can book the same cabin and not have exactly the same amenities. If I book one of the two cabins directly next to yours, the desk will be small, if I book in the middle section of the ship, the cabin is bigger and I have a makeup station, but even here, there's a 50% chance the desk is gonna be small 😆

You know, this is exactly what we found! We got access to another couple of cabins (room tours coming soon 😂), and it proved exactly what you’re saying - even the basic amenities eg the DESK were different! Thanks so much for this comment - good for thought, for sure!
