Hi fellow transgender person or ally! I'm applying for MSC and still don't have my legal name changed. As was explained to me in this company particularly, a transgender person will get their name tag and uniforms in accordance to their identity, but accomodations will align with their passport gender designation. I am a trans guy so I'll have name tag with my chosen name, masculine work attire and will sleep in the women's quarters until I change my gender marker on my passport.

@@nicolaicarius9001 Thanks for the reply. Am trans lesbian. Social 5 years, HRT for 14 months. I wondered if we would be accepted on board a ship as ourselves. (Check out Virgin Atlantic ad that has lgbt staff in it. Came 'out' in September). It's somewhere on KZbin.

@@nataliehilton9334 According to the recruiter at my agency (regarding MSC cruises mostly), the only thing that change is your quarters and everything related to your passport, such as flight tickets, banking account (is a different one for cruise crews, but you can transfer to your preferred account if you need), legal documents and such. And from the moment that you change everything in your passport everything will change too. Some things automatically and some things by request. Anyways, if you'd like, I can send you my discord name and we can exchange info and such. Just let me know.

I have always wondered if there was weigh requirements on a ship. Most all of the employees look so slim.

There is no weight restriction. You just have to have a healthy BMI.

As a passenger and stumbled on your videos via KZbin. I am not Crew but do appreciate the videos and makes me appreciate the crew a little more. Good luck today in the 1st sailing .... and hopefully will see the crew soon when I have my Voyage. I do have a question for your next AMA if you feel like it. From your persective.... what are your top 5 areas Sailers (Passenger) should visit on ship. (And not to be selfish) top 5 Sailers (Crew) locations ... curious if there is some crossover. Doubt I will get answers before my visit but curious on your take.
