Am really impressed by The Rum Wench's swimming ability. She may have a 3 foot draft but she moves through the water with hardly a ripple even when up to normal cruising speed and also appears to suck very little water back when going through the Llangollen bridges. A good hull design and build no doubt.

Two unrelated and perhaps opposing comments: 1. I do love the sound of those old engines. That 'chug-chug-chug' sound is peaceful and enjoyable. 2. If I could relocate to the canals--it will never happen--I would want to live on a hybrid with a mostly-silent engine. But more than anything, I enjoy your vlogs because of the sound and video quality. It is clear that being a professional presenter, not just a KZbin influencer, makes your videos far more enjoyable than many I watch...and I spend a LOT of time cruising the cut on KZbin!

I’m enjoying watching as you have discovered the joys of simply being a passenger. Occasionally helping out of course, but otherwise enjoying the ride, or getting on with other tasks. There are endless vlogs from the perspective of the pilot/driver, but not much from anyone else onboard - am I making any sense. I don’t know, it just seems like the overall experience of being a passenger/crew would be really different from that of the pilot/driver/captain.
