I don't get why "Locket" has 9,9 mio. clicks at the moment but the rest of Crumb's songs only hit a few 100.000! I mean what's wrong with those people? You make the coolest music. Haven't felt this strongly about a band in a while. There's something so fresh and alive in the sound. I might try to explain my feeling here if anyone wants to indulge me. The tune has a patina to it, and it moves like smoke rather than like a procession of generic, abstract shapes. It invites me inside, and it doesn't hold back in sharing its life. I am surprised by where the music and the videos course to, I feel like I have experienced something special, something that takes me on a journey each step of the way. There's a harmony to it all which maintains difference in enough measure that the differences complement one another and construct something together through concourse. I feel it is a rare thing to find in music that's relatively unalloyed in its willingness to experiment and take risks. There's something unique, uncompromising, and dedicated here. A rare combination of vision, technical skill, and feeling. Thanks for the excellent music. To anyone who decided to read this, thanks for hearing me out.
