Yes, she was treated really badly by Crumbl. And the copycat recipes don't hurt the brand, they almost promote it because it get the name out even more and then people want to try the OG anyway.

@@TamiDunn I use my moms Christmas cut out recipe mostly similar but has Cream of Tartor in the dry ingredients and i use Soda instead of powder. I used powder once instead of soda and didn't turn out as good. I think our older generation recipes shouldn't be messed with. I'm such a stickler when baking and it drove me nuts you didn't beat the butter and sugar to a fluffy consistency before adding dry ing. Then I roll into a ball then flatten with glass. My kids hated doing baking with me cause mom has to do it her way. Lol. Ya, because it works and food is so costly to waist.

When I tried Crumbl's version, I did not taste almond extract in just the cookie itself. Can you taste it in the Crumbl cookie without the frosting?
